KYUSS KING TAKES DOWN EVENT 5 OF THE WAHU GROM SERIES


Kyuss King has been very busy competing over the past month. Lots of traveling and competing up and down the east coast in the junior surf events.Kyuss travelled north to participated in event 5 of the Wahu Grom Surfer series at Kurrawa Beach Gold Coast 11th - 12th December.A huge turn out for this event saw strong competition and quality surfing in the clean 2 - 3 foot waves.
Day 1: Kyuss started the event strong placing first in his round seeing him through to the Semi Finals.
Day 2: Kyuss started day 2 strong with an 8.8 ride and a total score of 16.45 in his Semi final earning him the highest heat score for his division and a spot into the finals.
Kyuss continued his form into the finals with an 8.4 ride which saw him lead the finals from the first minute. Kyuss went on to post a score of 16.00 out of 20 which gave Kyuss King the win and Champion of Event 5 of the Wahu Grom Surfer Comp Kurrawa Beach Gold Coast.Kyuss said he was super stoked with the win as the finals had good surfers in it and it was going to be a good final to win...
