NEW VOLCOM SUPER GROM DOMINATES OCEAN & EARTH TEENAGE RAMPAGE

New Volcom grom Sam Bond dominated the final day of the Ocean & Earth Teenage Rampage at Newcastle on the weekend and took home first place in the under 13 final.

The under 13 boys was a hard fought affair but it was Volcom's Sam Bond who shone above the pack winning from Merewether surfer Jackson Baker in second, Teague Robinson (Avoca Beach, NSW) in third and Luis Stackhouse (Merewether, NSW) in fourth.

 Well done Sam you little legend!!

VOLCOM STONE'S BS FILM PREMIER ON THE GOLD COAST

Volcom held the second premier of the latest surf film BS! at the ASL car park on the Gold Coast Friday 16th October. A huge crowd turned out to watch Volcom's latest Surf film and witness the Goons Of Doom Live, as will as sip on a few VB Raw Beers, Jim Beam and Pizzas.

It was a fun night had by all, if you missed out check the photos below and you can get you hands on the movie this month on the latest issue of Surfing Life.

CHRIS FRIEND FINISHES 4th ON THE ASP PRO JUNIOR SERIES AND LANDS A SPOT AT THE WORLD JUNIOR TITLES EARLY NEXT YEAR!

Volcom's Sunshine Coast wonder-child Chris Friend finished a stellar year by placing 5th in the Billabong Pro Junior at bells beach.
Friend surfed his way into the quarter finals last week at Bells beach, securing his position in the prestigeous Australian Junior team.  

 Friend will join fellow comrades Andrew Doheny & Coco Ho at the ASP world junior titles in Narrabeen next year to fly the Volcom flag.Onya friendy!   

VOLCOM OZ GROMMET HARRY WHEELER SPOTTED IN SANTA CRUZ

Harry Wheeler has been touring the US for the last month surfing up and down the west coast of America.

This week he was spotted surfing Steamer Lane with big wave charges "Skindog Collins"  and "Barney Barron" and about 50 massive seals.

TEAM ALL THROUGH TO DAY THREE OF COMPETITION DOWN BELLS BEACH PRO JUNIOR

Day two of the Billabong pro junior kicked of today in clean 2 foot bells and all four Volcom surfers ripped the little waves apart. 


Chris friend is sitting in 4th spot on the junior series, with a good result 
in this last event he could jump the ratings and secure himself a spot in the World titles in Narrabeen at the end of the year.


Oscar Scanes was the stand out surfer today combining power surfing with new school air antics, the crowed on the beach was stoked with his performance 


Vluggy ripping every little wave that Bells had to offer on the second day of competition.

CHRIS FRIEND 3RD PLACE AT DRIPPING WET PRO JUNIOR




Chris Friend was on fire last week in the Dripping wet pro junior down Manly beach, the 9 foot tall Grommet now finds himself in 4th spot on the Australasian Pro Junior Series.
Next week the Junior series heads down to Bells Beach, Victoria, for the final event of the year.
Volcom have Two surfers in the top 10 coming into the event, Chris Friend in 4th and David Vlug in 8th.


Both Vlugy and Friendy are pumped up for the event and are looking forward to the big rights that Bells "inside bowl" has to offer.
